Professional Activities:  ND CPA Society Board of Directors, University of North Dakota Department of Accountancy Advisory Board, United Way of Cass-Clay Finance Committee, YWCA Cass Clay Board of Directors, Finance and Governance Committees, Valley Water Rescue Volunteer Accountant.

What I like about the Society:  Meeting CPAs from all around the state, and at all stages in their careers.

What would surprise people about me?  I was very involved in music growing up, playing piano and saxophone. I played the bari saxophone through junior high and high school, and went on to play in the Wind Ensemble and Saxophone Quartet at UND as well as the Minnesota State Band until I moved back to Fargo. I’ve had the opportunity to play all over the world, including the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Personal:  Husband Nick (also a CPA), and I live in West Fargo with our two girls – Nora and Olivia. In addition to my professional activities, I spend a lot of time volunteering for my kids' activities and at our church.

Hobbies and Pastimes:  Spending time with my family. We are blessed to have a lot of family close by that we get to see often. I also really enjoy getting together with friends and neighbors, and watching our kids play and grow up together.
