    What You’ll Take Ownership Of:

    The Accountant position plays an important role in the financial stability of Acme Tools. This position is responsible for:

    •        Presentation, preparation, and distribution of financial statements
    •        Financial planning and forecasting for our organization
    •         Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining accounting system accuracy
    •        Assisting in compiling various government and industry reporting
    •         Problem-solving a variety of organization-wide financial matters, including:         invoicing problems, inventory accuracy, procurement
    •       Overseeing accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
    •         Managing multiple projects simultaneously
    •         Working individually and in a team to complete a wide variety of projects for the organization
    •         Performing other related duties as assigned

    Need-To-Haves:

    •         A minimum of 4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
    •         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    •         Prior ERP systems experience
    •         Exceptional business acumen; analytical, forecasting, reporting, and organizational skills
    •         Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and develop data into workable models and projections, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    •         Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information
    •         Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and support business decision-making
    •         Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
    •         Must be energetic, motivated, and adaptable to progress-based change

    Love-To-Haves:

    •        Valid CPA credentials
    •         Proven experience working with a retail or similar business as a staff Accountant
    •         Tool and equipment industry career background
